There are a few places around town that the kids know by name and claim as favorites. Lemonade is one of them. It’s become a bit of a tradition for Hannah to go for her birthday. Well, as fate would have it, her ninth birthday was just days away and we found ourselves in the neighborhood of this hot spot for my little ones. I’m a big fan as well as it’s a fantastic alternative to fast food. They have a really reasonably priced menu of tasty, colorful food that changes slightly with the season. That’ part, I’m not gonna lie can be a bit heartbreaking when you’re looking for an old favorite but luckily the chances quite high that you’ll find a new one pretty fast.
There are several locations in California, but we visited the Studio City spot.
There’s a huge assortment of foods, from salads, sandwiches, chili’s, soups, brisket, and more! Foods are prepared and can be seen through the glass in the buffet style line you order from but sandwiches are made to order.
The rainbow of colors make it super fun for the kids to make choices and they get pretty adventurous, trying new and unfamiliar flavors.
While the food is great, it’s totally worth a trip for a dessert and one of the assorted flavors of specialty lemonade.
This time we chose a bevy of salads and of course the boy can’t ever pass up mac and cheese!
Avocado and mini heirloom tomato salad, brussel sprout salad with dates, edamame salad, mac and cheese, and a delicious tuna poke’ that we all fought over…including Zion, which neither Hannah or I saw coming. We’ll be back for a much larger portion of that!
God forbid we pass up a photo op against a cute wall! 😜
And we’re out…full of silliness and yumminess! Thanks Lemonade for another winning birthday lunch!
